Mayan Calendar Spurs Travel

wow, who would think to capitalize on the Mayan Calendar? 😉

Apparently lots of people! Scanning news related to the Yucatan I found an interesting bit of information about how people are gearing up for the highly discussed date of 12/21/2012.  This is the last date that can be identified in the famed Caledar de los Mayos and has prompted many prophecies and theories about what happens next…like duh, get a new calendar!

From Fox News:

Cashing In On The ‘end Of The World’ Tourism | Fox News.

I personally will not be joining the throngs of crowds, I prefer to visit when the atmosphere is more tranquil and reverent.

To get a sense of what I’m talking about visit www.mayanspiritualretreats.com there you will learn of the private beach where we meditate, pray, eat and stargaze in between yoga, nutritious meals, Shamanic ceremony and snorkeling with dolphins.

I hope that you will join me there soon, next retreat is in April, well outside the margin of when the throngs of “end of the world travelers” will hit the area and December 12, 2012!
