Who Are You and How Do You Know?

by SedonaJeannie on October 22, 2016

How do you know what or who you are?  Really.

Descartes said “I think, therefore I am”, sounds logical, poetic even, but is it true?

Who or what is doing the thinking?

And what about this: How do you know that it’s really you thinking those thoughts?

What if you are pure energy?

quoteI AM

It’s a powerful statement.  So powerful that I have spent a large part of my adulthood conscious of the fact that each time I use that declaration whatever words follow in effect are a command to the Universe.

I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend, lover, astrologer, counselor, healer, student, teacher, woman…on and on we could go.

I am but a wave in the ocean of consciousness that is you.

I saw this video given by a young man of 33 and found myself really appreciating the truth of his words.

The idea that we are human beings with a finite existence is one that has outlived it’s usefulness.

When we wake up to the reality that it is our oneness that gives us breath we will breathe life into on another’s dreams and sail on the current of their wake.

Have a listen and by all means – share your thoughts in the comments below!
